We know that a standard assembly doesn’t always cut it, especially for the kids who see the world a bit differently. Our educational packages are designed to break the routine and get students actually thinking. We turn up, set up in your hall, and show them something they haven’t seen before.
Here is what a typical visit looks like:
We start with what we do best—live, award-winning theatre. Our stories are built from our own lived experiences as neurodivergent adults.
Real Talk: We don't talk down to students. Whether we’re covering drugs, knife crime, or the struggles of being misunderstood, we keep it honest.
Opening Eyes: The performance is designed to resonate with everyone. For neurotypical students, it’s a window into a different way of thinking. For neurodivergent students, it’s often the first time they see themselves represented on stage in a way that feels real.
Once the lights come up, we don’t just pack away. We stay for a 30-minute deep dive with the students.
Q&A Session: This is an open floor. Students can ask us anything about the play, our lives, or how we went from being "misunderstood youths" to professional performers.
The Mindmap: Together, we create a giant mindmap. We pull out the themes from the play and map out the students' thoughts, feelings, and questions. It’s a visual way for them to see that their opinions actually matter.
If you want to go deeper, we offer an extended session where we get the students on their feet.
Creating Together: We lead a workshop where the students start creating their own pieces of theatre.
Expressing the Unspoken: For young people with learning difficulties, finding the right words can be a wall. We use movement, character work, and drama to help them find a different way to say what they’re feeling. It’s about giving them an avenue for their emotions that doesn't involve a pen and paper.
Because we’ve been the kids sitting in those chairs, we know how to bridge the gap. We help students:
Build Confidence: Seeing people like them succeeding on stage gives them a reason to believe in themselves.
Find a Voice: We show them that their "different" brain is actually a creative powerhouse.
Understand Each Other: We break down the barriers between different types of learners, creating a bit more empathy in the hallways
The corporate world wasn't exactly designed with neurodivergent brains in mind. Most of us at Cherrybomb spent years trying to fit into boxes that were the wrong shape for us. Now, we’re coming into your workspace to show you why those "different" brains are actually your biggest asset.
We don’t do dry PowerPoint presentations or HR lectures. We use theatre to show you what it’s actually like to navigate a workplace when your brain works differently—and how to make sure those people don't just survive at work, but lead.
We kick off with a live, lighthearted performance to the boardroom. A comedy piece that hits on some very real truths about communication, sensory overload, and the unique brilliance that neurodivergent employees bring to the table.
Breaking the Ice: We use humour to lower defences and get people talking about things that usually feel "too awkward" to bring up.
A New Perspective: We show your team what the world looks like from our side. It’s about moving past labels and seeing the actual person.
After the performance, we sit down with your team for a real conversation.
No-Nonsense Q&A: Your staff can ask us the questions they’ve been afraid to ask. Because we’ve lived it, we give honest, practical answers about support and inclusion.
The Workplace Mindmap: We work with your group to map out how your specific office or environment can be tweaked to work better for everyone. We look at everything from how you give instructions to the physical layout of the room.
If you want to take it further, we offer an interactive workshop that gets your team out of their chairs and thinking on their feet.
Theatre-Based Team Building: We use drama exercises to help people communicate better. This isn't just "trust falls"—it’s about learning to read between the lines and adapt to different communication styles.
Expressive Solutions: We help your employees find their own avenues for expression. Sometimes the best way to solve a complex work problem is to stop thinking like a "businessman" and start thinking like a creator.
We’ve gone from being misunderstood kids to adults who have met the Queen and toured internationally. We know that when a neurodivergent person feels supported, they don't just "do the job"—they change the game.
Retain Talent: Make your workplace a place where people don't feel they have to hide who they are.
Boost Creativity: Learn how to tap into the "outside the box" thinking that neurodivergent people naturally have.
Better Communication: When you learn how to communicate with a neurodivergent colleague, you actually become a better communicator for everyone.
